Current Status: unknown
The Train Station Specific Plan aims to create a transit-oriented neighborhood around the new Fairfield-Vacaville Hannigan Capital Corridor Stop at Peabody Road and Vanden Road. New services would include a new library, a new school (under Travis Unified School District), and low-, medium-, and high-density residences in the area.
Under the plan, high-density housing would be located nearest to the train station, with the town center area being located there as well. Areas farther from the station would be home to mid- and low-density residences.
Current developers include One Lake Holding, LLC, who plans to build 513 units in the Lake District of the new community under their One Lake, formerly known as Canon Station, master development. The map for that specific development was approved in 2016, although construction is not expected for some time.
Other projects include Travis Crossing, which would construct 79 units of housing south of the station, and the Biggs Property, which would construct 75 units of housing near the Travis Crossing development.
