Pacific Flyway Center

Current Status: Awaiting Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR)

The Pacific Flyway Center, likened as the bird equivalent of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and to be developed by the nonprofit Pacific Flyway Fund, is a proposed mixed land preserve and educational facility to be located at Ramsey Road and Gold Hill Road in Cordelia, adjacent to the I-680 freeway. The project is said to be built on upland as to mitigate impact on existing wetlands. Construction is expected to occur in three phases.
